Those days were the golden era of Pakistan television when one could watch more than one excellent drama.

It was a time when the streets used to be quiet between 8 and 9 P.M. My younger brother huzaifa shafiq and I used to have a quick meal and watch the 8 o'clock plays. And we often used to watch movies. 

At that time, a scary & horror drama called "Haqeeqat" was aired on PTV every Saturday night. This is the first horror drama of my life which I watched as a child and my nights sleep was blown away by that drama, even though we were so scared, we were waiting for that drama that when the Saturday night would come, we would watch our favorite drama "Haqeeqat".

A little cute girl named Moqadis scared me a lot in this drama. At that time, every moment the scary face of Moqadis was in front of my eyes. When I was alone in the room, I used to run out of the room because of fear. 

In spite of that, I used to wait only for sacred scenes. The night scene in the play, when there was light smoke and clouds on the moon, I thought that now the night scene has come. During the drama, there was a call to prayer on PTV, so my cousin Usama used to scare me by saying, Talha, how are you going to go home now ? The child he catches, then puts him in a pot with an older one, he used to get even more scared after hearing these words of the wretch and used to say to my younger brother that how will we sleep now ? 

So my brother and I used to leave slowly. Our bed was at a short distance but it was a bit dark in the room. When we came to the bed, my brother would say, don't look in the darkness and hide under blanket. We used to hide and sleep as if we are in Area 51 or Bermuda Triangle. It was the result of watching that drama.

What was the story of the drama ?? I don't remember much. I used to watch the cute little girl Muqadis who turned into a scary Jin.

Today I have seen many horror & scary movies, but in reality, I don't consider them as sacred because my childhood memories are associated with the scart and "reality" based dramas like "Haqeeqat."
